Red Toes Walk

Saturday 22nd November 2008
Jervis Bay

Red Toes focuses on strengthening female connections with other women and the world in which they live.
Building strong, healthy connections sustain us in all stages of our lives. Red relates to the base chakra situated at the base of the spine.
This chakra relates to our awareness of our self as human beings and our place on earth.
Red is also the colour of courage and passion.
Red symbolises the uniqueness of women.

In 2008 we celebrated our midlife time with other women of all ages.
After proudly painting our toenails vibrant red we joined the circle for some yoga stretches. With blue skies and the sun shining brightly we were off on our walk along the shores of beautiful Jervis Bay. Time for alot more chatting over a picnic lunch as well the opportunity to hear from 10 interesting speakers who shared both valuable information and some very funny stories about being a woman. During the evening we enjoyed the Wand'ring Menstruals perform their fabulous songs and danced the night away. We are all looking forward to Red Toes Walk 2009.
