Seadragon weaving 1  Seadragon weaving 2

Where: Jervis Bay See Change Arts Festival “Art in the Park”

When: June 2000

Event: A large wire frame was made to provide the support for a community weaving. The weaving aimed to connect the community from young to old. The elusive weedy seadragon is found in the waters of Jervis Bay and is used in the logo of Jervis Bay & Basin Arts Inc. Using recycled cotton selvage waste, participants were able to weave a large weedy seadragon.  The weaving was used in future festivals with continuing assemblage layers added to the framework.
